Hello and Thanks for Stopping By!

Byway  Farm  Miniatures is only a part of a full - size  equine  facility  in  Georgia and former home of  National  Yearling Top Ten Stallion Champion McCarthy's Marshall Dillon.  In August 2007, we celebrated the anniversary of our first mini stepping hoof on  the farm, Gander  Hill  Legacys  Paul.    It was our goal to provide quality AMHA and AMHR registered  miniature  horses  for  show, breeding, and gentle companionship for years to come.    We  found  ourselves  extremely fortunate to have acquired bloodlines of the famous Dell Teras, Dels Little Man, Lucky Four and NFC in a short amount of time.

The combined history at  Byway Farm Miniatures  brought  over  75 years  of
"big  horse" experience.    We  learned  a  lot  during  our  short-lived experience with miniature horse breeders, their professional handlers and trainers.  Our thanks go out to Mulligans Run Farm and Aloha Acres.  During the last quarter of 2007, we decided to sell all our miniature horses, geld our remaining stud and have set sail onward, back to bigger things.

We  hope  you  enjoy  looking through what remains of our mini website  as  we  have  attempted  to share with  you  how  much  fun  the world can really  be  with  the  animals that we no longer own, but have loved.

All of our miniature horses are friendly,
easy to handle, mannerly, inquisitive and
have been imprinted by us at birth.

We exposed our minis to the same
things we did our big horses
(shows, trailering, children,
loud noises, camera flashes,
dogs, umbrellas, water, etc.)
so that there were limited surprises while you
(or your children) were handling them.

We are proud that all of our horses,
big and small,
are healthy, sound, wormed and vaccinated
on a regular schedule.

All our horses are trimmed by our own
kind and gentle farrier, Thomas Murray,
on a regular 6-8 week schedule.
